IT and telecom service provider Anittel (ASX:AYG) has appointed Michael O’Sullivan as its new chief operating officer.

O’Sullivan had previously been an executive at KAZ Group, the former venture of Anittel’s managing director, Peter Kazacos.

He has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry in a variety of commercial management roles.

Kazacos said he was looking forward to working with O’Sullivan again, noting that he has an “approach to business management that will greatly assist Anittel in this time of growth.”

Anittel specialises in providing voice, data, mobility, PBX, VoIP, IT, cloud and hosted services to SMBs.

Last week, the company revealed it had raised $1.1 million through a share placement to Auckland Trust Company. And in April, Anittel acquired Dubbo-based IT West for an undisclosed sum.

AYG shares stayed flat on Monday at $0.007.
