Following is the latest roundup of accounting community news for the week of April 4, 2011. The Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) hosted a seminar on Friday April 1st in Columbia, MD entitled “How the Judges Want You to Try Your Alimony Case.” Two panel members were from the CPA firm of Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra, Chartered (WC&S). Wendy Jacobs, CPA/CFF, CVA, director of the Forensic and Valuation Services Division of WC&S, and Jenna N. Lyon, CFE, senior FVS specialist of the Forensic and Valuation Services Division were both panel experts along with 5 judges and two attorneys who acted as moderators.
