Pengrowth Energy Corporation, and oil and gas company, announced the appointment of Marlon McDougall as Chief Operating Officer.
McDougall has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering field, including his role as COO for an E&P company, along with past work at Suncor, Halliburton and ADECO Drilling and Engineering.
McDougall received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, as well as a Petroleum Technology Certificate in Production from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Pengrowth is involved in more than 200 project area properties, and has about 860,000 net acres of undeveloped land and major operated properties through Canada.
“I am very pleased to have Marlon join Pengrowth,” said Derek Evans, Pengrowth’s President and CEO. “His appointment rounds out our senior leadership team; we’re ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of our increasingly complex business.”
